When and why did you leave your country?

In 2015 because I had so many difficulties. I couldn’t live there.

Where did you start your journey?

Senegal

Which countries did you travel through?

Mali, Algeria

Why did you choose this country rather than another country?

Because in Italy you don’t fight, you don’t hurt each other. I wanted a place where I could be quiet. Even the illness I had, I could catch it anywhere.

What was your principal difficulty once you arrived in the host country?

Health problems and document problems. Even now, I am still in hospital. Even now, I don’t know how to renew the document that is about to expire and I’m in hospital.

Do you have a job?

No, I have never managed to work.

Do you have local friends

No, because I spent most of my time in hospital.

What do you like most in the host country?

Pasta with vegetables

What do you do in your spare time?

I watch videos on Tik Tok, Instagram. I watch Italian comedians.

What do you want to do in host city?

Before the health problem I wanted to work and be well. But the important thing now is to think about health.

What do you think will help newcomers?

Advice: if you come here to look for your future, for your tomorrow, you have to live here well, you have to be calm, if you have found a job, work, if you haven’t, stay at home. Everyone in this world is looking for things, has their own needs, the important thing is to respect others.
