From Algeria to France, for respect and tolerance

When and why did you leave your country?

I had issues with my family back in my country because I am gay.

Where did you start your journey?

Algeria.

Which countries did you travel through?

Italy.

Why did you choose this country rather than another country?

Because in Algeria, we study in both Arabic and French, and my grand-father lived in France before he passed away.

What was your principal difficulty once you arrived in the host country?

Find an accommodation.

Do you have a job?

Yes.

Do you have local friends

Yes.

What do you like most in the host country?

The laws.

What do you do in your spare time?

I volunteer for “Les restos du coeur” otherwise I go to the beach or travel with friends.

What do you want to do in host city?

Live there.

What do you think will help newcomers?

An internet website that is complete and simple translated in many different languages.

What do you miss about your country?

Nothing.
