For war reasons and working difficulties

Gambia, in my city

Gambia -Senegal – Mali – Algeria – Libia – Italia

Why did you choose this country rather than another country?

Because is a free and democratic Country

What was your principal difficulty once you arrived in the host country?

Learning the language and finding a job

Do you have a job?

Yes

Do you have local friends

Sure, a friend from the Community center, another from the community and also a friend that is also a colleague. Then I have friends at school.

What do you like most in the host country?

Food, especially cannelloni

What do you do in your spare time?

I attend the public school in the evening

What do you want to do in host city?

I can say what I do now; I work in Catania, first in a factory, now in a pizzeria

What do you think will help newcomers?

How can I help them? I don’t know, I don’t have anything… what I could say is “go to school, learn the language and study.”

What do you miss about your country?

Everything, but there is difficulty and there is nothing.
